Antique John Walsh Walsh Opaline Vaseline 'Tulip' Glass Vase c1890, with a rare opalescent 'oil slick like' matt finish on the rim, and then glossy on the outside which gives an amazing contrast.

The John Walsh Walsh Tulip Pattern Vaseline Glass Vase, crafted around 1900, is a notable example of Victorian era British glasswork. This vase features an eight way crimped rim and showcases the distinctive 'Tulip' pattern with an iridescent finish. Produced by the renowned John Walsh Walsh glass company.

Similar items are shown in the book Victorian Decorative Glass by Mervyn Gulliver, page 110.

Fantastic condition, only slight surface wear to underside, normal for items of this age, please refer to all images.
