

late 19th century Stevens and Williams opaque custard glass pair of posey vases
A pair of wonderful Victorian 1890's opaque custard glass vase with applied amber rim. Small amounts of uranium in the glass cause it to glow bright green in UV light. Custard glass was made by several Victorian era glass factories, including Stevens & Williams and Boulton & Mills from the Stourbridge area of England, and Czech/Bohemian maker Harrach. Ground concave pontil mark to base which is a sign of quality glass.
Brilliant condition, no chips, cracks or repairs.
