Rare Kralik Veined Bohemian Art Nouveau pair of hyacinth Vases

£275.00

Pair of Kralik Veined Iridescent Green hyacinthGlass Vases, shaped iridescent green glass vases with applied opal threads.

Kralik was a renowned glass factory established in the 19th century, famous for producing high quality art glass, often featuring intricate designs, vibrant colours, and distinctive iridescent finishes. The Kralik glassworks, full name Wilhelm Kralik Söhne, was originally founded by Josef Meyr in 1815, in Bohemia.

The green colour in particular is highly prized, as it pairs beautifully with the iridescent treatment, adding depth and a sense of warmth to the glass. This effect creates a piece that changes and shifts its colour depending on the lighting.
