Fairy lamps originated in England in the 1840”s and are candle burning night lights that would have been used in nurseries, hallways, and dimly lit corners of the home.
A real opportunity to own a museum quality piece, truly magical when lit with a tea light.
Brilliant condition, just one point to note, the inner of the fairy lamp shade has some very minor nibbles to the top rim, this being said we have never had one that hasn't had this, common wear.
